QUESTION:Where to source used construction equipment?
I need to source used construction machines like JCBs and Caterpillars - can anyone help me find somewhere i can source used equipment of this nature at good prices - salvage sites, reconditioned machine dealers e.t.c would be great
ANSWER: Try contacting some of the large construction companies in your area, and ask them to contact you when they are in the process of, or about to replace some of their large machinery. Or contact the manufacturers and ask them if they have taken used equipment as part exchange that they are trying to get rid of. Sometimes the Hire Firms sell of out of date equipment.
