How do you define the mini excavator
QUESTION:I am an civil engineering student in Australia and are going to do a
final project about the development of the mini excavator. I want to know
how the company to define a mini-excavator and what kinds of companies do
produce mini excavator?
ANSWER: he mini-excavator. Mine was a Tonka and helped dig a hell of a
ditch in the back yard. When dad saw it, the Tonka helped fill in the
ditch in the back yard (circa 1965?)
Pardon me but this looks too much like humour (note the metric spelling). You
have to understand that only "metric talk" is more loathsome than humour to this
new group.
However, it sounds like you learned excavation, back filling and a little bit
about project management with that Tonka. Mostly, I learned about equipment
rental rates and insurance riders when using my little brother's Tonkas.
Now for the real answer. A mini excavator looks just like a "hi-hoe" or
"hydraulic shovel", only smaller. Around the size of a "Bobcat" skid-steer
loader. Kubota made the first one I saw, but many others make them now.
