QUESTION:Does anyone have any thoughts on a:
1993 SAMBRON AN252 ROUGH TERRAIN FORKLIFT,
It's listed at GBP3250 and I am looking for something to use around
the a wood yard. What skidded unit is it based on and are spares
readily available?
ANSWER: Traction is not particularly impressive on two wheel drive RTFs. Manitou
have a sliding weight mounted over the engine to help. MB26PC uses the
Ford 5000 unit, my water jacket died at 4500 hours
One thing you may need to consider; the number of sections in the mast.
If you are working under cover and don't have a *free lift* mast you
very quickly run out of headroom.
