QUESTION:That is a horrible way to die, but why the hell didn't she move out the way? Those tractors don't move fast. Why didn't she make her point and move?
A better question to ask is why didn't the asshole driving the tractor stop?
ANSWER: If you've ever driven heavy equipment, and I've never driven a bulldozer, you're always looking around you, particularly if you're
maneuvering. If he looks back, then to the front, and she's stupidly occluded by the blade, he might naturally assume she decided
to be reasonable and stop playing chicken with 10, 20 or more tons of steel. Sure he can see pissed off protesters yelling
something and waving at him, but over the engine, and past the ear plugs, they look like they always do. When he finally realizes
what the protesters are pissed about he gets a light-headed sick feeling and hopes he was just pushing her with the blade and backs
up to hopefully free her....
It's heavy equipment not a ing game. The world is short a moron, but somehow I think we'll manage.
