QUESTION:Anyone know where the inflation valves on the rear tyres of a JCB
backhoe are? The fronts have standard car-style Schrader valves, but
the rears (the huge ones) don't seem to have valves at all...
ANSWER: No, but as we had to blow ours up quite frequently I suspect that means
that they were dead easy to find, and in the normal place.
They have to come through the rim somewhere, so check the inside too.
They might be protected by lumps opf metal of some sort, as big rocks
are quite good at ripping valves out. (it happened to the tractor that
delivered our wood. 8 tonnes of oak and a tractor with a flat, on a
single track road...)
