QUESTION:Anyone know anything about international hydrostatic transmissions?
im working on a international backhoe and would like some pointers on why it becomes weak after warming up it want pull a hill much less push dirt, but it does pretty good till it warms up.
ANSWER: the seals on the pump in the tranny are leaking when it warms up the hydrolic oil gets thin when it is cold it is thick and doesnt leak around the seals , also the pumps impellor could be bad same cause warm fluid it bypasses through the seals.
Have you ever tried asking the Free (yup free) outdoor Equuipment Tech?
