QUESTION:My son, 1 1/2 years old, has just developed a love for heavy machinery:
bulldozers, backhoes, dump trucks, etc.
I remember seeing a commercial on television for a kids video about
construction equipment. It sounded like my son would love it. Does
anybody know how I could get more information and maybe order this video?
Any other recommendations (videos, books, etc.) about heavy equipment
things for small children? My son has a Little Tikes bulldozer & dump
truck. We got a couple of Anne Rockwell books about vehicles.
ANSWER: My son went through the same obsession! We found a tape at our local Target
called something like there goes a bulldozer. It's about 30 min long and
narrated by "construction forman dave". They go through a bunch of
different equipment and construction sites. Julian loved it! It's part of
a series and we also bought "there goes a train" which was equally well
loved. They sell for about $10.00. There's nothing funnier than listening
to a ~2 year old say "backhoe"!
