Heavy Equipment Operators
QUESTION:Should drug testing be mandatory for heavy equipment operators, surgeons, nurses, etc?
Should drug testing mandatory for surgeons, nurses, heavy equipment operators? If so, why? If not, why?
ANSWER: I believe they should be. I personally wouldn't want anyone working with heavy equipment, anyone doing surgery on me or any nurse performing their duties to be all drugged up! I prefer them to have a clear head! Mistakes can happen but the chances of mistakes happening when someone is under the influence of drugs or that has had damage done by use of drugs the risk of something bad happening goes up. Trust me I have seen many friends do stupid things while high on various drugs... it isn't pretty.
