QUESTION:For all those who doubted how chicago's impound handles cars, watch the
video of it being moved around with a common everyday fork lift here:
C'mon, Brent - the car is a total loss. Who gives a rat's ass if they
use a forklift to take it to the junk yard?
ANSWER: I don't have those kind of connections.... You gotta be connected to take
advantage of those 'scrapped for $120' specials. So, no need for a
handful of benjamins, just one and a jackson to go with it, provided one
is properly connected to the city employees and the private contractors.
Not to say that a handful might not be able to buy a connection, but that
car is just a little too special for that.
