These are pictures of cantilveer racks

I am thinking to use this as an alternative for improving the material handling system for a company study. The company can use forklifts or cranes and the products are C purlins (long beams for roofs about 6m) Can anyone explain to me how the forklift or cranes get the set of purlins or stack it in the rack cause I cant seem to imagine how that happens. The crane can get the one on the topmost part but how about if you want to get the one below not the topmost?

ANSWER:

There are spaces between the racks. Thus, there is enough space for the forklift's lifters (don't know the actual term) to reach the bottom or middle stack. The forklift can adjust its lifters from low, middle or high. To easier understand the concept, you can request a forklift operator to demonstrate it to you.
