QUESTION:Are forklift batteries the same as car batteries? how can you tell if they are 12 or 24 volts?
ANSWER: If it doesn't say what its voltage is, test it with a voltmeter.
Some forklifts do indeed use car batteries.
I've bought batteries for a Komatsu forklift at the local NAPA before.
