QUESTION:The little machines of that general size - like my little excavator for
example - can do an amazing amount of work in a very short time. I used
the excavator to dig out the concrete remains of 17 fence posts
yesterday in about an hour. That included climbing a slope with the
blade behind me, and taking them out on the way up. A very handy
machine about the same size as the Dingo with tracks. I should have had
Nedra take some pictures.
It got used again today to unearth a leaking water line and replace
another fence post that had rotted off in its concrete footing. The air
nailer was really handy for getting the fence rebuilt.
Thanks for the pictures. That looks like a fun time. Which model was
it that you used?
ANSWER: It is Dingo 222. The littlest one. There's a narrow tire option that allows it
to sneak through a 36" door.
The Dingo uses separate hydraulics for traction and PTO- a
lot of small loaders don't- and the attachments available are pretty
neat- I'm going to reserve the Dingo and a jackhammer head in the spring
to break up my concrete steps. The hammer has some sort of three-weight
system that packs 3x the wallop of a pneumatic hammer.
