QUESTION:A Peg Pegero excavator for $10 (retails at $119 at Toys-R-Us), my soon-to-be
four year old is going to be a very happy birthday boy.
Is that a fancy Tonka truck?
ANSWER: I recently found a big set of pottery dishes complete with 10-12 each of
giant dinner plates, little sandwich plates, tall tumblers, a spoon rest,
salt and pepper shakers, a salad bowl and two small bowls all for $25.
It's beautiful "art" pottery with great designs around the edges... their
brother in law's art--guess they didn't appreciate it...looked up his
gallery online---each plate is $20 bucks!!! It's a set I'd have had to pay
hundreds for... and the stuff is dishwasher and microwave safe...and one of
those great things I would never have gotten for myself but for this sale!
